Australia Awards Ambassadors Initiative

The Australia Awards Alumni Ambassador Initiative taps into the enormous potential of Alumni by officially forming a cadre of volunteer champions across the continent who are committed to promoting and representing the Australia Awards – Africa program and further raising the profile of Australia in Africa. The Australia Awards Ambassador program was launched in 2013 and raised the profile of Australia Awards. It supports public diplomacy activities in Alumni’s respective countries.

There are currently 17 Alumni Ambassadors serving across various regions of the African continent, as part of this initiative.
